| Methodology |
Teaching methodology at DWS Spanish School, Buenos Aires has been continually updated to incorporate the latest techniques and thus ensure that our students enjoy a range of methods that are adapted to their needs.
Our Spanish teacher training department 's mission is to homogenize our methods and educational principles in order to meet the demands and needs of our students.

| |
 |
| Our main aims are: |
- Classes entirely in Spanish orientated towards the communicative development of our students.
- Skills integration with special emphasis on listening comprehension and oral expression as well as learning and communication methods.
- Lesson planning based on our fixed spanish programmes combined with our students' needs and their diverse learning styles.
- A varied spanish programme which makes the most of the school's resources, as well as help for those students who are studying Spanish for specific purposes.
- Our classes are based on the communicative approach and use the latest task based learning methodology. We are conscious of the need to use a variety of methods as our students come from a range of backgrounds and ages and have varied learning styles and needs. Activating communicative skills means planning classes taking into account linguistic objectives, sociocultural backgrounds, learning skills and communication with special emphasis on sentence construction and appropriate language. Rather than teachers who get their students to repeat structures and constructions teacher based) our teachers aim to help their students think in Spanish learner based.

Due attention is also paid to grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills, and a wide variety of materials is used including published materials from many sources as well as materials which have been written by our own Director of Studies - Guadalupe Tavella.
All materials that the students need to work with are provided free of charge. This includes a Spanish book which is given to students at the beginning of their spanish course in Buenos Aires.
The teaching and the course programme are carefully supervised by the Director of Studies, who is also responsible for ensuring that students are placed in the appropriate levels and that their progress is satisfactory.
While the atmosphere in the classroom is generally relaxed and informal, students should be prepared to work hard and participate fully.
