Monday:
We see “La bomba del tiempo”, group of drums formed
by 17 distinguished percussionists. The musicians practice
led improvisation and use a system of approximately
70 signs made with the hands, fingers and body. Each
concert is unique and unpredictable as it depends on
the interaction of all those involved in the ritual.
Tuesday: During the afternoon, we
visit with a school guide the most attractive
and characteristic places of Capital Federal and
its surroundings, to meet historic buildings,
museums and many other places of interest. This
way, you will get a better background and further
information on what you are going to visit and
see while you will still be practising your Spanish.
Wednesday: Open tango lesson to learn
the fundamentals of this dance, 100% Argentinean. The
class is delivered in such a way that everybody can
learn. The teachers observe and encourage partner rotation
to favor a better learning experience.
Thursday: Not only do we taste several
wines from different regions in Argentina, but we also
learn the basics about the different wines and how to
taste them.
Friday: We go to plays and concerts,
such as shows that combine tango and acrobatics, physical
skills, among others. The purpose is that of giving
students a chance to use their Spanish out of the classroom
doors, while socializing with the rest of the students
at the school.
Besides, every week we organize trips to see football
matches where the best teams in Argentina compete, such
as Boca and River.
