Weekly Schedule

DWS Spanish School, Buenos Aires offers much more than Spanish Learning Programmes. We cater for a wide range of activities in order to provide you with a wise mix of experience in different essential academic, cultural and social aspects during your stay in Buenos Aires.

On Mondays, after the first two hours of classes, you will be warmly welcomed by our Students´ Coordinator. At a meeting together, you will be able to learn about how our School works and get information on timetables, class schedules, outings and the book and DVD library. We would also gladly help you with all doubts and queries you may have on the School and Buenos Aires City.

Our school has three different shifts for classes upon availability:

Option 1
9am to 11am. Classes
11am to 11.15am. Morning Break
11.15am to 01.15pm. Classes

Option 2
11.15am to 01.15pm. Classes
01.15pm to 02.15pm. Lunch Break
02.15pm to 04.15pm. Classes

Option 3
02.15pm to 04.15pm. Classes
04.15pm to 04.30pm. Afternoon Break
04.30pm to 06.30pm. Classes

Monday: We see “La bomba del tiempo”, group of drums formed by 17 distinguished percussionists. The musicians practice led improvisation and use a system of approximately 70 signs made with the hands, fingers and body. Each concert is unique and unpredictable as it depends on the interaction of all those involved in the ritual.

Tuesday: During the afternoon, we visit with a school guide the most attractive and characteristic places of Capital Federal and its surroundings, to meet historic buildings, museums and many other places of interest. This way, you will get a better background and further information on what you are going to visit and see while you will still be practising your Spanish.

Wednesday: Open tango lesson to learn the fundamentals of this dance, 100% Argentinean. The class is delivered in such a way that everybody can learn. The teachers observe and encourage partner rotation to favor a better learning experience.

Thursday: Not only do we taste several wines from different regions in Argentina, but we also learn the basics about the different wines and how to taste them.

Friday: We go to plays and concerts, such as shows that combine tango and acrobatics, physical skills, among others. The purpose is that of giving students a chance to use their Spanish out of the classroom doors, while socializing with the rest of the students at the school.

Besides, every week we organize trips to see football matches where the best teams in Argentina compete, such as Boca and River.
